A youth’s education is of paramount importance and therefore registration and enrollment is managed as expeditiously as possible.
A smooth transition into the education system will facilitate the attendance and success of a youth in the school setting, leading to positive educational outcomes for the youth.

Post-Secondary Admission Assistance
GED Training
LDS assist youth in obtaining their GED if they have not obtained the High School Diploma. The GED program selected will be appropriate to the youth’s needs, and proximate to the school district assigned to youth’s residence and/or his or her school of choice.
Post-Secondary Education
Life Discovery Services will encourage and assist the youth with enrolling in post-secondary education. The Life Discovery Services staff will provide youth assistance with such asks including but not limited to:

For Foster Youth- Assist with accessing Georgia RYSE/ILP educational support and funds.
